Blu-ray movie releases for the week of August 31st

The blockbuster Transformers will finally be out this week in its director-approved HD format. What else should we expect to see? Take a look:

- Every Which Way But Loose

- The Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow

- Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles

- Under Siege 2 – Dark Territory
Critics dislike movies like Under Siege 2, but if you are in the mood for an unintentionally humorous film, you really can’t trump this one. We half-heartedly recommend Married Life, a movie set in the late 1940s about a man who thinks killing is wife is better than putting her through a divorce, but the pace of the movie is a bit slow and the dialogue seems anachronistic. Clint Eastwood fans might want to pick up Every Which Way But Loose and The Gaunlet, both cult-favorites that are decidedly different from his well-known Westerns.
